Mohammed Yousif El Manna Elected As President of Arab Weightlifting Federation

Doha, May 27 (QNA) - President of the Qatar Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation Mohammed Yousif Al-Manna was elected Monday as President of the Arab Weightlifting Federation, during a general assembly that was held to choose the new President. His new term will be for four years; from 2013-2017. Al Manna won in a unanimous vote, 18 of 22 countries participated in the voting process. The participating countries were Qatar, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Bahrain, Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen. The General Assembly was held in Holiday Villa Hotel in Doha. (QNA)
