MOFA Undersecretary participates in induction forum

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah has participated in an induction forum for the workers in human rights across all sectors. He said that human rights development in the community, emanates from its respect for human rights and provision of basic rights and liberties to all citizens and residents alike. He hailed the efforts made by all the official institutions operating in the field of human rights, stressing the great importance of coordination and cooperation among them for better regulation of the sector and propagation of the culture of human right practices in society. Ambassador Abdullatif said he was optimistic that activities as such would serve as opportunities for exchange of ideas and practical know-how, as a number of attendees gave induction presentations covering the strategic objectives of their organisations. He noted that the meeting is one of a series of regular future meetings to be held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He expressed thanks to the attendees for their valuable contributions and effective participation in the forum.
