Ministry of Justice Holds Seminar on Real Estate Valuation

Doha, January 30 (QNA) - The Ministry of Justice's Center for Legal and Judicial Studies on Wednesday held a seminar under the theme of "Real Estate Organization in Qatar: Practice and Legal Regulation." The seminar discussed three main aspects: the current situation of real estate valuation, the experience of Qatari appraiser; problems and solutions, and the need to a legal regulation for real estate valuation. HE Minister of Justice Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanem said on the occasion that the ministry is in the process of passing a legislation to protect and regulate the profession of real estate valuation, in order to preserve state property and wealth of citizens. For their part, participants in the seminar underlined the significance of holding similar events so as to spread legal awareness and protect national wealth. They also stressed the need to pass legislations that protect real estate appraisers from intruders. (QNA)
