Minister of Works receives British Ambassador

Manama, May. 12. (BNA) – Minister of Works Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received here today the British Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay, who was accompanied with the Head of the UK Trade and Investment Office at the British Embassy here Debbie Dixon. They reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation. The Minister praised the steady growth of the Bahraini-British relations, and lauded Britain's advanced expertise in the fields of works and construction. He expressed the Ministry of Works (MoW)'s desire to benefit from the British expertise in various fields, particularly the sanitation and roads ones, citing the outstanding success of the projects implemented by the British companies recently. Ambassador Lindsay expressed delight at the advanced level of bilateral relations, lauding the MoW's efforts to modernise the kingdom's infrastructure.
