Minister of State for Interior Affairs Opens New Traffic Department Building

Doha, May 29 (QNA) -HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs,Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani inaugurated today the new building of the Traffic Department located at the southern city of Khalifa. The inauguration ceremony was attended by HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah , H.E. Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning, the Director-General of Public Security (DGPS), Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim al-Khulaifi, HE Commander of the Emiri Guard Major General Hazza Bin Khalil Al-Shahwani ,as well as a large number of Directors of security departments at the Ministry of Interior and the Internal Security Force . HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs told journalists that the inauguration of the new building of the Traffic Department is part of the strategy of the Ministry of Interior in the reconstruction , rehabilitation and renovation of the ministry's institutions to facilitate work of the commissaries. He said that the upcoming stage will witness the inauguration of the new security printing building . on the inauguration of the new awareness campaign on the new traffic safety, HE the Minister noted that the aim of this campaign is to save lives of the drivers ,escorts and the passers-by ,hoping that all would participate in this campaign .(QNA)
