Minister lauds youth training programme

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder lauded the keenness of the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the provision of quality leadership training programmes in youth Centres. He expressed deep belief in the importance of training officials and workers at youth centres. He added the youth centres are considered the prime embracer of youths, citing the launching of "Youth and Sports" Training Programme for Leaders in Youth Centres (aka Efficiencies) commensurate with the requirements and capabilities of leaders in these centres. The minister said the programme enjoys the support from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in harmony with the directives of the Kingdom's leadership regarding the essential need to provide technical and vocational training to youth to ensure them the opportunity to fulfil their various needs and provide them with the necessary expertise.
