Minister of Labour Follows Up Open Professional Day Activities

Doha, July 01 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Abdullah Saleh Mubarak Al Khulaifi was briefed on the activities of the open professional day, organized by the National Manpower Department at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in cooperation with the Qatar National Bank to provide job opportunities to the largest number of job seekers among secondary school and university graduates , in addition to experienced Qataris. HE the Minister was also briefed on the employment opportunities provided by the Qatar National Bank for applicants, wishing them progress and prosperity in their work life and , also expressed the ministry's readiness to provide all help and assistance to secure their success. Labour and Social Affairs Undersecretary Hussein Al Mulla said in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the ministry had agreed with Qatar National Bank to provide more than 150 jobs for each of the secondary certificate holders and university graduates in many disciplines, including business administration, accounting, marketing, mathematics, English and graphic design, in addition to some other administrative opportunities. He explained that the ministry aims form organizing an open day for recruitment is to bring job seekers to create a direct link between them and the sector which has vacancies, inform them about the advantages of those jobs and enable them to apply directly in the same place, especially that immediate interviews can be conducted.
