Minister Of Labor To Azerbaijani Ambassador: We Look Forward To Joint Cooperation And Exchange Of Experiences

Baghdad / NINA / - Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Judge Salar Abdul Sattar, discussed with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iraq Nasir Mammadov, today, Tuesday, bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, the minister stressed that the Ministry of Labor is looking forward to joint cooperation with its Azerbaijani counterpart in terms of exchanging experiences and other fields related to the work of the two ministries, according to a memorandum of cooperation or an agreement signed between the two sides. He pointed out that "there is a draft agreement for cooperation between the two ministries, indicating that the ministry will work on completing and amending it in line with the fields related to the ministry's work, while expressing his readiness to facilitate procedures regarding the status of the Azerbaijani community or labor in Iraq." Abdul Sattar also welcomed the Azerbaijani side's proposal to establish a work center, indicating that the ministry will study the proposal and indicate the extent to which the center's benefits and tasks are achieved. For his part, the Azerbaijani ambassador invited the Minister of Labor to participate in the meetings of the Organization of Non-Aligned Countries chaired by Azerbaijan for the second year, expressing his country's readiness to cooperate in all areas related to the social field and transfer of Azerbaijani expertise, most notably with regard to the issue of tackling unemployment./ End
