Minister honours Best Short Film Award winners

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): Information, Parliament Affairs Minister, Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, commended the humanitarian and societal aspects of Bahraini movies. He praised the high level of creativity and the flourishing of arts in the kingdom thanks to the democratic, cultural openness in the prosperous reign of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The minister expressed these remarks as he received Bahraini artiste Shafiqah Yousef and sound technician Nadir Amir al-Din, and honoured both of them on occasion of their short film "Aswat"'s winning the Best Short Film Award at Asia International Short Film Festival2015 in China on September 26,
