Minister of Energy and Industry to Participate in Arab Water Arab Water

Doha, June 05 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada will take part in 5th meeting the Arab Water Ministerial Council, due to be held on Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab League's General Secretariat. A press release issued today by Qatar Petroleum said HE the Minister will leave Doha today for Cairo at the head of a delegation comprising, Chairman of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) HE Eng. Issa bin Hilal Al Kuwari to attend this meeting, which is scheduled to discuss a number of topics and issues, foremost of which being the Arab strategy for water security in the Arab region, the follow-up of the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals, the Arab summit development resolutions, preparation for an international conference on Arab water in the occupied Arab territories. The Arab Water Ministerial Council re-elected the State of Qatar as member of the Executive Office of its 30th session, during the tenth session of the Arab Electricity Ministerial Council, which was held last month at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo with the participation of Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada.(QNA)
