Minister of Culture Awards Child Literature Winners

Doha, April 30 (QNA) -HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage , Dr Hamad Abdel Aziz Al Kuwari honored on Tuesday winners of the state's award for child literature. Al Kuwari said at a ceremony at Qatar National Museum that the award aimed at encouraging more production by Arab authors and upgrading production of Arab children. The award for children's books drawings was shared by Omayma Isa , Kuwait and Sahar Al Sadq, Egyp, whereas the poetry award went to Obeid Abbas, Egypt. An award for theatrical writing went to Haimi al Mufti Syria and another for electronic games was given to Muhannad Abu Nada, Palestine. (QNA)
