Milk production increases in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2022. / Kabar /. In January-August 2022, milk production in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1 million 181.2 thousand tons, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. This is 24.1 thousand tons or 2.1% more than the corresponding period last year, the report said. In general, the increase in milk production in the republic is due to the increase in the number of cows by 13.7 thousand heads and the average milk yield per cow by 3.5 kg compared to the corresponding period last year (1342.2-1345.7=3, 5).
