Mikati: Electoral Law Takes Lebanon to 'Political Stability'

Doha, January 16 (QNA) - Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Wednesday said that legislative elections are the means of access to political stability and to the salvation of Lebanon, NNA reported. He Premier called for an electoral law that illustrates the union of the Lebanese and not a law that divides the people, refusing any law that goes against the Taef Accord. "In my capacity as Prime Minister, I address all political forces and call on them to refer to a wise verbal behavior in their approach to the electoral law, so as to preserve the unity, stability and sovereignty of Lebanon", he concluded.
