Medicine in Kyrgyzstan is at high level – Russian doctor

Medicine in Kyrgyzstan is at a fairly high level, Dmitry Tarasov, head of the Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics of the International Center of Oncology based on MEDSI, told during the conference in Bishkek "MEDSI: Medicine of Competencies". Representatives of the MEDSI group of companies, the leading federal network of clinics in Russia, are in Bishkek. On June 4 and 5, leading, highly qualified doctors of the Russian clinic conducted free examinations and consultations for residents of the republic on the basis of four tertiary organizations in Bishkek. Representatives of MEDSI shared their experience in treating patients with various diseases, and discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and MEDSI. Tarasov noted that a team of Russian doctors arrived in Kyrgyzstan in order to bring their technologies. “In two working days, we managed to consult more than a hundred people, adjust their treatment, and discuss further ways of cooperation with colleagues. I want to note that medicine in your country is at a fairly high level. Our task is only to introduce new technologies and modern methods of treatment into your system,” he said. During the event, Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulan Sydykov and representative of the presidential administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulmira Shakirova thanked the doctors from Russia for the exchange of experience and knowledge about modern methods of treatment. “Health care is one of the main social areas. We are well aware that the possibilities in this direction are endless. In Kyrgyzstan, there are multidisciplinary non-state clinics from Russia and Turkey. We are open to new proposals,” Shakirova said.
