Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Reviews opens tomorrow

Manama, Jan 26 (BNA): The third version of the Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Reviews will kick off tomorrow under the patronage of President of the Supreme Council of Health and Chairman of the High Medical Committee Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. Mohammed bin Khalifa Cardiac Centre (MKCC) in collaboration with the US Mayo Clinic Center will organize the event on 27-30 January 2016. The conference coordinator Dr. Haitham Amin said that more than 350 will participate in the event, including experts, lecturers, Bahraini doctors and others from Gulf and other countries of the world. He added that a specialized delegation from Hong Kong will deliver important medical lectures in the same area, in addition the first specialized training workshop in cardiac ultrasound will be held and overseen by a specialized team consists of 12 lecturers and experts of the US Mayo Clinic Center. Dr. Amin explained that hosting the conference in Bahrain reflects the leadership's keenness on developing Bahraini doctors in general, heart ones in particular, noting the MKCC support for the event.
