Mauritius Premier Meets Qatari Awqaf Minister

Port Louis, January 29 (QNA) - Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam has met with HE Qatar's Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting Port Louis today. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop and strengthen them. Earlier, HE the Minister Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari had attended the graduation ceremony of students of Doha Academy in Mauritius, which includes the Doha Secondary School for boys, Doha Secondary School for Girls and a Primary School. Addressing the ceremony, HE the Minister stressed that the State of Qatar under the leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has always been seeking to spread education and knowledge and to extend assistance to the brotherly and friendly peoples. He pointed out that the establishment of Doha Academy in Mauritius by donation of HH the Emir reflected his sincere approach to his leadership and love for humanity and support for all aspects of human life including health, educational and religious aspects. HE the Minister Dr. Ghaith Al Kuwari expressed his pleasure to participate in the graduation ceremony of students of Doha Academy ..
