Maryam Al Attiyah Receives Award of Best Woman Character in Middle East in Terms of Achievement
Dubai, March 13 (QNA) - Qatar’s National Human Rights Committee secretary-general Maryam bint Abdullah Al-Attiyah has received the award of the best woman character in the Middle East in terms of achievement.
The award has been presented by the Middle East Awards Institute for Excellence of the "Data matix" Foundation, in honor of women leaders and institutions that have played an outstanding role in the development of women's leadership role in the development process.
The ceremony organized by the Institute at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai was attended by a large number of women leaders’ characters in the region.
Al Attiyah was honoured for her participation in the activities of the 16th International Congress of women leaders held at Ritz Carlton Hotel, Dubai International Financial Centre on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of International Women's Day.
Among the awardees also was Nora Al Manae, CEO of the development of small and medium enterprises in Qatar who received the woman's personal leadership award in the field of the development of the economy and business.
Datamatix Director General Ali Al Kamali congratulated in a speech on this occasion the awardees, wishing the conference every success in order to enhance the role of women in the region's society. (QNA)
