Manama Dialogue delegations visit National Museum

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): A number of delegations participating in the IISS Manama Dialogue today visited the Bahrain National Museum, and were welcomed by the representatives of the Culture and Arts Directorate at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA). The visiting delegations toured the museum's sections, and were informed about collections of artifacts and art forms showcasing the long history of the kingdom, being the home for many civilisations, some of which dating back to 4000 BC. Among the delegations was the UK House of Commons' whose members thanked BACA for the warm welcome, noting that the visit provided them with an opportunity to be informed about Bahrain's rich history and cultural heritage.
