Macedonian President Dr. Gjorge Ivanov Tours QSTP

DOHA,January 29 (QNA) - Macedonian President Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday visited Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) , an offshoot of qatar foundation for education, science and community development (QF) as part of his current visit to qatar. During his tour , the Macedonian President got acquainted with the modus operandi in the QSTP as a hub for companies working in technology all over the world. The QSTP's director general hamad mohamed al kuwari briefed the Macedonian President on the goals of QSTP for attracting the worldly renown leading companies for upgrading its own techology and marketing it worldwide. For his part Dr. Gjorge Ivanov highly praised the QSTP noting it is an integrated research centre which does not only serve qatar but the entire region in general stressing meantime his country's due concern to benefit from and exchange expertise and knowhow with QSTP . The Macedonian President Dr. Gjorgje Ivanov arrived in Doha earlier Sunday night on a several days official visit to Qatar. It is worth to mention that Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) is the national agency charged with executing applied research and delivering commercialized technologies in four themed areas: Energy, Environment, Health Sciences, and Information and Communication Technologies. QSTP is located at Qatar Foundation s Education City and has access to the resources of its cluster of leading research universities.(QNA)
