Maan delegation visits US intellectual centres

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): A delegation of Maan "Together" programme against violence and addiction has visited intellectual centres of the United States. The Centre's officials hailed the achievement of Bahrain by honouring Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa with the Personality of the Year Award 2018 by the US-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E. International), in appreciation of the success of the  Programme since its launch in 2011.  Director of the programme, Ali Ameeni stressed that the directives and support of the Interior Minister were behind the success of the initiative.
