London Chamber of Commerce Delegation Visits Qatar To View Cooperation Opportunities

Doha , April 15 (QNA) - London Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize a visit to Doha with a delegation representing 13 English small-medium enterprises that will look to bolster trade cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom. The enterprises provide a range of services including road work, public relations, computer programming, shipping services among others. Chairman of the London Chamber of Commerce Willie Walsh, who is also CEO of International Airlines Group, said that the visit will provide a valuable opportunity for British enterprises to share their expertise, after their success in hosting the 2012 London Olympics. The visit will look to provide British companies with an overview for the opportunities the Qatari market offers in light of their hosting of the 2022 World Cup. Trade volume between Qatar and the United Kingdom in 2011 was 6.6 billion sterling pounds. (QNA)
