LLOA performance highlighted

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): The Chairman of the Legislation & Legal Opinion (Fatwa) Authority (LLOA), legal advisor Abdullah Al-Buainain, said the authority's three departments - (1- the Legislation & Official Gazette, 2- Legal Research & Research , and 3- International Conventions, Agreements and Contracts) - completed 1168 topics in 2014, which reflects the volume of efforts exerted by the experts and employees, in view of the increasing amount of duties accomplished over the last few years. He said the authority completed 973 topics in 2012 and 953 topics in 2013 in addition to other responsibilities, including the arrangement and organizing of all logistical aspects of the municipal and parliamentary elections in the kingdom.
