Leadership's interest in citizens praised

Manama, Aug. 26 (BNA): Muharraq Governor Salman bin Hindi has extended sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prime Minister for their sound directives to establish a fourth causeway between Muharraq and Manama to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. Speaking on behalf of the Muharraq citizens during the Governorate’s weekly Majlis, the governor also expressed utmost thanks to the Interior Minister following his meeting with the citizens and their representatives of the four governorates and praising the Bahraini people’s rallying together against Iran’s blatant interference in the kingdom’s domestic affairs. He affirmed Muharraq’s unwavering loyalty and allegiance to the Al-Khalifa Royal Family and the beloved kingdom. The attendees lauded the programmes provided for their children and Bahraini youth during the summer holidays, including the camp organised by the Royal Academy of Police, a camp aiming to prepare highly-aware citizens and leaders of the future. They also thanked the Muharraq Governorate for its programmes organised in collaboration with clubs, youth centres and local associations during school holidays, expressing hope that they will continue in the future. The governor and the citizens also thanked the Interior Minister for the outstanding security efforts in Muharraq, which, they said, safeguarded the city against terrorism, affirming the readiness of the citizens across the governorate to join ranks with loyal security personnel to confront terrorists and sedition mongers who serve foreign agendas. They also commended the efforts of the civil defence personnel in responding quickly to any emergencies, citing their success in putting out the fire that broke out in a building in Hidd in a record time and rescuing those inside it. They also called on the competent sides to take firm decisions against the manipulators of prices, in general, and those of fish, in particular.
