Leadership congratulated on National Action Charter anniversary

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Malik Al Shaikh on behalf of himself and the Saudi Embassy staff members congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the fifteenth anniversary of ratification of the National Action Charter, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership. The ambassador hailed HM the King's wise and capable launching of the ongoing reforms on the road of advancement and prosperity. Speaking to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the Kingdom's National Action Charter, Dr. Al Shaikh said: "The Bahraini people voted 98.4% unanimously in approval of the National Action Charter and that affirms their rallying around their wise leadership who accomplished a quantum transformation in Bahrain's history hence the country has assumed its prestigious position both regionally and internationally. The Saudi ambassador pointed out that the Charter is considered an advanced stride in the country's political modernization and consolidation of its constitutional institutions to fulfill the aspirations and hopes in further advancement, development and revival.
