Leadership congratulated on 48th BDF anniversary

Manama, Feb 2 (BNA): Shura Council, in a statement issued today, extended sincere congratulations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, marking the 48th anniversary of the establishment of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). The statement also congratulated the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and servicemen on the national occasion. It commended their loyalty to the homeland, leadership and people and their readiness to defend the national interests, achievements and gains. It wished Bahrain servicemen to bring more successes within the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces in Yemen, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the BDF servicemen who lost their lives in eternal peace and wished the injured quick recovery.
