Leaders of EAEU countries to discuss in Bishkek future of integration association

Bishkek, May 26, 2022. / Kabar /. On May 26, Bishkek will host a plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum with the participation of the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states Sadyr Zhaparov, Nikol Pashinyan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko will also take part in the meeting, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission said.
The President of Russia and the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Belarus will join the discussion via videoconferencing. The heads of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich, will take part in the event in person.
The plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum will be moderated by Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, member of the Presidium of the EAEU Business Council.
The sides will discuss the priorities of Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship in the EAEU in the conditions of turbulence in international relations, the priorities of the Union, use of advantages of the geostrategic position of the EAEU for the development of the economies of the "five" countries, stimulation of mutual investments in the EAEU and investments from friendly countries, the development of economic cooperation, obstacles in the domestic market.
It is expected that the leaders of the EAEU countries will also give their assessment of economic integration in the Eurasian space and the development of the economies of their states.
The First Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in Bishkek on May 26. The program includes a plenary session with the participation of the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as six panel sessions.
