Lami: More Than 300 Prominent Media Figures From Various Arab And Foreign Countries Will Attend the FAJ's Conference in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - More than 300 prominent media personalities from various Arab and foreign countries will attend the conference of the Federation of Arab Journalists in Baghdad, the head of the FAJ Muayad al-Lami confirmed. Al-Lami said during a meeting with Minister of Communications Hassan Al-Rashed that the conference of the Arab Journalists will be held for the first time in Iraq in the presence of more than 300 prominent media personalities from various Arab and foreign countries. He pointed out that invitations were sent to the Secretary-General of the UN and League of Arab States to attend the conference. "There will be a major central celebration in which more than 5,000 journalists will take part in solidarity with the government's position in securing Iraq's unity and valuing the victories against terrorism," he said. He added that "the conference will, at the same time, provide an idea for the Arab delegations and the Arab and regional public opinion that Iraq is ready to receive all the countries of the world to promote its reality through the establishment of development projects." He expressed his happiness and the delegation to meet the Minister of Communications and the successes achieved in the ministry during the last period represented by the development of its services to the institutions of the state and citizens, expressing the federation's readiness to provide media support to the ministry. Al-Lami sent a direct invitation to the minister to visit the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and meet with the press family and to get acquainted with the nature of organizing the press work./ End
