Lami : Iraq Has Provided 50 Journalists Martyrs In The Last Three Years

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) – Head of Federation of Arab Journalists, head of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Muayad al-Lami said "Iraq has presented more than 50 journalists as martyrs during the last three years. He said in a speech at the opening of the International Media Conference that more than 1,000 journalists were sent to cover the fight against terrorism and convey the true picture of the liberation operations. Al-Lami added "the convening of the International Media Conference in Baghdad marks the rise and victory over terrorism."
