Labour, Social Development Minister receives Sudanese Ambassador

Manama, Oct. 14 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, on Tuesday received the Ambassador of Sudan Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdulrahman Khalil Ahmed Effendi, and explored with him the cooperation ties, especially pertaining to labour, training and community development programmes. The minister praised the discipline and loyalty of the Sudanese community in Bahrain, lauding their role in the Kingdom's economic development. The recently-appointed ambassador has expressed his appreciation of the Kingdom's advanced labour legislations, pointing out that Sudanese workers enjoy all their rights and the sense of serenity and stability in Bahrain. In conclusion of their meeting, the two sides asserted the importance of expertise exchange and availing from the pioneering experiences in both countries related to the labour market and areas of social development as well as the coordination of stances at Arab and international conferences for the benefit and prosperity of Bahrain and Sudan and the two sibling peoples.
