Labour document against Iran's interference launched

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan has inaugurated the Labour Document launched by the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al-Hurr) in rejection of the Iranian interference in the Kingdom’s domestic affairs.
Held today at Al-Hurr’s headquarters in Isa Town, the event was also attended by the Al-Hurr Executive Council Chairman Yaqoob Mohammed Yousif and members, heads of trade unions and Acting Labour Ministry’s Undersecretary and Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Ansari.
Such a patriotic initiative confirms Bahraini workers’ rallying behind the leadership and their keenness to ensure the safety and unity of the nation, the minister said after inaugurating and signing the document, stressing that the initiative conveys a clear message that the kingdom is united, cohesive and fortified against division.
The document affirms Bahraini workers’ support for Bahrain’s Arab identity and national sovereignty, and rejection of everything that harms its deep-rooted features of tolerance, love among all sects and security, he added.
The minister strongly denounced the repeated Iranian statements which, he said, contravene international laws and norms, flout the good neighbourliness principles and may put the interests of the region's governments and peoples at risk.
He voiced full-fledged support to all measures taken by the government to maintain security and stability across the kingdom, under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's leadership, supported by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
Al-Hurr Executive Council chairman and members, trade unionists and workers also signed the document.
