Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade volume makes USD 3 bln

Bishkek, June 14, 2022. /Kabar/. In January-April 2022, the volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $3 billion and increased by 43.3% compared to January-April 2021, the National Statistis Committee said. In addition, exports decreased by 14.3%, while imports, on the contrary, grew by 1.6 times. In January–April 2022, the volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to USD 1.1 billion, having increased by 16.3% in comparison with January-April 2021. Meanwhile, export supplies increased by 26.4%, import supplies - by 13.3%. The largest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states fell to Russia (67.7%) and Kazakhstan (30.4%).
