Kyrgyzstan's debt to China's Eximbank amounts to almost USD 1.8 bln

To date, the state external debt of Kyrgyzstan to the Export-Import Bank of China makes USD 1 billion 794.12 million, which is equivalent to KGS 147 billion 304.94 million, the Ministry of Finance told Kabar News Agency. The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic plans to pay USD 111.73 million to Eximbank of China in 2022. According to forecast data, the increase in servicing the state external debt to the Eximbank of China will begin in 2025 and reach its peak in 2027, followed by its decrease. The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic pays all its obligations to external creditors in a timely manner and in full, the report said.
