Kyrgyzstani Makhmudov reaches finals of Asian Greco-Roman wrestling championship

Bishkek, April 19, 2022. / Kabar /. Wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Akzhol Makhmudov reached the finals of the Asian Greco-Roman wrestling Championship, which is taking place in Ulaanbaator (Mongolia) on April 19 to 24, the United Wrestling World reported. The Kyrgyzstani defeated Kim Hyeon-Wu of South Korea with 4:1 in semi-final of the men's weight category up to 77 kg. Earlier, Makhmudov beat Iran's Aref Mozafar 9:1 in the quarter-finals. A total of 21 wrestlers represent Kyrgyzstan at the Asian Championships in Mongolia.
