Kyrgyzstan transfers 50 investment projects to Iranian investors for study

Bishkek, March 9, 2022 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan transferred 50 investment projects to Iranian investors for study, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.
On March 6, Kyrgyz Ambassador to Iran Turdakun Sydykov met with Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Head of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran Ali Fekri.
During the meeting, Sydykov noted the importance of developing trade, economic and investment cooperation, which are priority areas in the bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
The ambassador emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is the most favorable country with a facilitated investment policy regime and favorable legislation for foreign investors. He then handed over 50 investment projects for review and study by Iranian investors from state and private companies.
In turn, Ali Fekri confirmed the readiness of the Iranian side to intensify trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
As a result of the meeting, the sides agreed to develop investment cooperation between the countries, including such priority areas as hydropower, agriculture, mining and tourism.
