Kyrgyzstan takes part in meeting of secretaries of security councils of SCO states

Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2022 / Kabar /. Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Marat Imankulov is taking part in the 17th meeting of the secretaries of the security councils of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, which is taking place in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). At the same time, Marat Imankulov held bilateral meetings with Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan Viktor Makhmudov and Secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia Zhadamyn Enkhbayar. During the meetings, issues of countering global and regional challenges and threats, combating terrorism and extremism, as well as further development of bilateral cooperation were considered. In addition, issues of finding ways to solve problems in the field of ensuring security in the SCO space were discussed.
