Kyrgyzstan, South Korea discuss possibility of creating training ground

Bishkek, April 18, 2022 . / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea Aida Ismailova visited the Korean Fire Institute and met with President Kim Ilso. The press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy reported that during the meeting, Ismailova noted the importance of establishing cooperation between the countries in the field of fire protection, in particular she proposed an exchange of experience on improving the fire safety system and the development of methods for operating advanced firefighting equipment. The sides also discussed the possibility of creating a Kyrgyz-Korean firefighting training ground, designed to prepare firefighters to act to eliminate fires. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to invite employees of the fire department of the Kyrgyz Republic for joint training in South Korea, as well as the participation in 2022 representatives of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations at the Fire and Safety EXPO, which will be held in the Republic of Korea. In addition, there was an introduction to the Institute, where the Kyrgyz ambassador participated in the testing of new fire-fighting equipment.
