Kyrgyzstan received 5 thsd 750 tons of seeds on credit to farmers

Kyrgyzstan received 5 thousand 750 tons of seeds on credit to farmers, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Aiyl Bank JSC Zhanar Noruzbaev said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency. He added that commodity credits in the form of issuing seeds to peasants have been developed for the first time this year. "As of April 18 this year, 5 thousand 750 tons of seeds worth KGS 303 million were received. Loans issued for KGS 250 million,” the deputy chairman said. Of these, barley was received in the amount of 2 thousand 867 tons, wheat - 2 thousand 600 tons, safflower- 153 tons, alfalfa -26 tons, peas -103 tons. Commodity credit was issued to a total of 8 thousand 363 farmers for 4 thousand 894 tons. "In addition, 128 tons of barley were received, which were sent to Kemin, Ak-Suu, Toguz-Toro, Tyup, Issyk-Kul regions,” Zhanar Noruzbaev concluded.
