Kyrgyzstan proposes South Korea to open Kyrgyz-Korean Association of Businessmen

Kyrgyzstan offered South Korea to open the Kyrgyz-Korean Association of Businessmen in the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Friday. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to South Korea Aida Ismailova held a meeting with Chairman of the International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) Park Sun-ho. During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of projects, including a pilot project for the development of digital land information management and the establishment of the Cooperation Center for land management in the Kyrgyz Republic. “Besides, Ambassador Ismailova requested to assist in attracting Korean conglomerates to Kyrgyzstan, as well as the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Korean Association of Businessmen in the Kyrgyz Republic," the report said. In response, Park Sun-ho noted the great interest in Kyrgyzstan, and also supported the idea of establishing ties between the Kyrgyz and Korean companies through business forums. The parties agreed to implement joint projects and organize events aimed at attracting Korean investments to Kyrgyzstan.
