Kyrgyzstan plans to launch 350 investment projects under Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund

Bishkek, April 14, 2022 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has 350 investment projects to be launched under the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund (UKDF), Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Ravshan Sabirov said during an opening ceremony of the Fund. He noted that 50 projects are ready today, but in total they exceed $6 billion. "In turn, the authorized capital of the Fund is only 50 million, in this regard, other projects are currently being worked out," Sabirov said. The Ala-Archa state residence in Bishkek hosted on Thursday an opening ceremony of Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund with the participation of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov. The Fund has been established to promote economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, the modernization and development of the economy, the effective use of opportunities.
