Kyrgyzstan plans to increase size of pensions to 50%

Bishkek, March 9, 2022 . / Kabar /. By Oct. 1, 2022, it is planned to increase the base part of pension up to 50%, Chairman of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan Baktiyar Aliev said Wednesday during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh. He noted that the base part of pension will be KGS 4,300 (about USD 44). Aliev said that it would apply to all categories of pensioners. Currently, there are 713 thousand pensioners in the republic.
