Kyrgyzstan to increase export of honey and dried fruits to Italy

Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2022 / Kabar /. A business forum with the participation of companies from Italy was held in Bishkek on Thursday, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported. The Italian delegation arrived from the district of Barbagia. It included representatives of companies from agriculture, hydropower and renewable energy sources, as well as companies from light industry, hospitality and tourism. The businessmen arrived to establish exports of dried fruits, honey products and nuts from Kyrgyzstan, as well as to establish contacts in the field of tourism. Within the framework of the business forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Barbagia Agricultural District Foundation. The document will lay the foundation for closer cooperation between businessmen of Italy and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the promotion of Kyrgyz products in Italy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic noted. Efisio Arbau, Chairman of the Foundation, appreciated the desire of Kyrgyz businessmen to learn and open up to new opportunities. The guests voiced their readiness to share their experience with companies and entrepreneurs of the republic that are engaged in the production of cheese from goat's milk.
