Kyrgyzstan has 7 unprofitable state-owned enterprises

There are seven unprofitable state enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of the State Property Management Fund (SPMF) Mirlan Bakirov said during a briefing in Bishkek on Friday. He noted that the country's macroeconomic indicators for the first six months of the year are positive thanks to profits from state enterprises, dividends, etc. Bakirov said that last year, the net profit of state-owned enterprises for 12 months was KGS 2 billion, and for six months in 2022 – KGS 1 billion 100 million. Among the profitable enterprises are Kygryz Railway, Kyrgyz Air Navigation, Mostotryad. "In total, we have 95 state-owned enterprises, of which 21 are profitable, 7 - unprofitable and 19 state-owned enterprises did not report," the head of the State Property Management Fund added.
