Kyrgyzstan, Belgium discuss development of bilateral cooperation issues

Bishkek, April 27, 2022. / Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev met with Ambassador of Belgium to Kyrgyzstan Henri Wantieghem, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Wednesday. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of development of Kyrgyz-Belgian cooperation in the political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the relationship between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union in the light of the new EU strategy on cooperation with Central Asian countries. Special attention was paid to the events planned for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries, including high-level visits in 2022. The ambassadors confirmed their mutual intention to continue the development of the whole range of Kyrgyz-Belgian relations.
