Kyrgyzstan and Sverdlovsk region Russia express interest in mutual cooperation

Bishkek, June 9, 2022 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and Sverdlovsk region of Russia expressed interest in mutual cooperation, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. These issues were discussed in Yekaterinburg by Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev at a meeting with Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuivashev. The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the Kyrgyz side is interested in further intensifying cooperation with Sverdlovsk region as a developed industrial region of the Russian Federation. Amangeldiev noted with satisfaction that the Kyrgyz-Russian strategic cooperation and allied relations have always been distinguished by special mutual understanding and complete trust. Among the promising areas of cooperation are: the field of agriculture, the construction of joint trade and logistics centers in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic for the procurement of agricultural products and in the territory of the Sverdlovsk region, possible distribution across the regions of the Russian Federation, the supply of early agricultural crops from the Kyrgyz Republic, through the creation of joint ventures for the processing of agricultural products and the provision of trading platforms, ​​the report said. In addition, the minister informed that in order to develop the tourism sector in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Tourism Development Support Fund OJSC was established with an authorized capital of 1 billion soms, the activities of which will be aimed at improving infrastructure, implementing initiatives aimed at developing the tourism industry, financing global and promising tourism projects.
