Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan sign MoU on cooperation in agriculture sphere

During the visit of President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Kyrgyzstan, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. The document serves as the intention of the sides to cooperate and promote practical measures of cooperation in the field of agriculture. The second document is an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Kazakhstan on the prevention and extinguishing of natural fires in the border areas. The agreement will improve the prevention and extinguishing of natural fires in the border areas and reduce the damage caused by them. It also provides an opportunity to provide mutual assistance and exchange experience in the fight against natural fires, the report said.
