Kyrgyz President Zhaparov leaves for Moscow

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has left for Russia for his first foreign visit, his press service reported on Wednesday.
As part of the visit, the Kyrgyz president will hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The two heads of state will discuss a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as the prospects for further development and building of effective cooperation.
Sadyr Zhaparov is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
Besides, a meetings will be held with the Russian business community, as well as with compatriots and Kyrgyz students attending Russian universities.
The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic includes:
- Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev;
- Chief of the President’s Office Suiunbek Kasmambetov;
- First Deputy Prime Minister Artem Novikov;
- Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance Ulukbek Karmyshakov;
- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Dastan Dyushekeyev;
- Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Gulnara-Klara Samat;
- Minister of Defense Taalaibek Omuraliyev;
- Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev;
- Minister of Emergency Situations Bobek Azhikeyev:
- Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development Askarbek Dzhanybekov;
- Minister of Transport, Architecture, Construction and Communication Gulmira Abdraliyeva;
- Minister of Energy and Industry Kubanychbek Turdubayev;
- Director of the State Agency for Investment Promotion and Protection Almambet Shykmamatov;
- Chairman of the State Tax Service Kabyl Abdaliyev;
- Acting Mayor of Bishkek Baktybek Kudaibergenov.
