Kyrgyz President Zhaparov arrives in Kazakh capital city

Bishkek, March 2, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan has arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit, his press service reported Tuesday. At Nur-Sultan International Airport, the head of state was met by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Energy Nurlan Nogaev and Akim of Nur-Sultan Altay Kulginov. State flags of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were hung on the flagpoles of the Nur-Sultan Airport, a carpet was laid out, a guard of honor was lined up. As part of the visit, Sadyr Zhaparov will hold bilateral talks with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and discuss topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as further prospects for cooperation. The Kyrgyz leader will also meet with First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin and Prime Minister Askar Mamin. At the same time, Sadyr Zhaparov is expected to meet with representatives of Kazakhstan's business circles.
