Kyrgyz president to take part in Turkic Council meeting

Bishkek, March 31, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will take part in an informal meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS, or Turkic Council). The event to be held on Wednesday via videoconference is expected to discuss topical international and regional issues, the Kyrgyz president’s press service reported. First President of Kazakhstan and Honorary Chairman of the Turkic Council Nursultan Nazarbayev, as well as Presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev are expected to attend the informal summit. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will also take part as a country observer and Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow - as a guest of honor.
