Kyrgyz president to take part in CSTO Summit in Yerevan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a working visit to Armenia on November 23 to attend the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, said. “The heads of the member states of the Organization will discuss the current situation in the CSTO area of ​​responsibility and topical issues of international security. Also, within the framework of the session of the Collective Security Council, the leaders of the CSTO countries will sum up the results of the chairmanship of Armenia in the Organization and hear information on priority areas of activity during the chairmanship of the Republic of Belarus. In addition, it is planned to sign a number of documents aimed at strengthening the alliance between the CSTO member states, as well as regulating the activities of the Organization,” Muratbek Azymbakiev said.
