Kyrgyz president extends greetings to Rahmon and Tajik people on Independence Day

Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2020. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan on Independence Day, his press service said. "Since the day of independence, Tajikistan under your wise leadership has achieved significant progress in the socio-economic direction. I am confident that our efforts aimed at developing Kyrgyz-Tajik relations will give a serious impetus to further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. I believe that we will be able to use all opportunities to achieve our goals for the sake of a happy future and peaceful life of our brotherly nations," the congratulatory telegram runs. President Jeenbekov wished Emomali Rahmon good health, happiness and success in work, and the brotherly people of Tajikistan - peace and development.
